Drop us a line

The fastest way to reach our editorial team is the form below. It goes to a shared inbox monitored by Liam, Priya, Theo, and Esme — one of us will see it within a working day or two.

Things we’re always glad to hear about:

  • Corrections. Wrong species ID, an out-of-date population number, a misattributed photo — please tell us. Corrections are the single most useful thing a reader can send us, and we publish them in-line.
  • Field reports. If you’re a researcher, ranger, photographer, or guide with a story we should be covering, we’d love to hear it. Even a short note is fine.
  • Photographs. We licence images for posts where we don’t have our own. If you’d like to talk about supplying photographs, send a couple of low-res samples and we’ll go from there.
  • Press / interviews. Reach out — we’re happy to give context on stories we’ve covered.
  • Reader questions. “How do jaguars actually hunt?” “Are pink dolphins really pink?” If we don’t know, we’ll tell you. If we do, the answer will probably end up as a post, and we’ll credit you for the prompt.

What we don’t reply to

  • Link-trade requests (we don’t trade links).
  • Generic guest-post pitches (we no longer accept unpaid guest posts).
  • AI-content vendors and “we’ll write for you” outreach.
  • SEO toolkits and outreach automation — we are the editorial team you’re trying to outreach to, and we read everything; please don’t waste your quota on us.

Privacy
